Meeting of FMs within "3+3" format kicks off in Türkiye

The meeting of foreign ministers within the framework of the "3+3" platform has started in Türkiye, AzVision.az reports.

The meeting is being held in Istanbul.

Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia are taking part in the meeting.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made an opening speech at the meeting.

He noted that the problems in the South Caucasus can be solved better by the countries of this region.

“The main goal of creating the regional platform “3+3” is to satisfy the felt need for a space where all topics closely related to the South Caucasus will be discussed,” Fidan noted.

The meeting of Foreign Ministers in the "3+3" format was held in Tehran on October 23 last year. Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia, Türkiye, and Armenia Jeyhun Bayramov, Sergey Lavrov, Hakan Fidan, and Ararat Mirzoyan also took part in the meeting in the "3+3" format.
